(Apr. 2) Muskogee Civics Event
On April 2, we once again hosted Wagoner High' School’s AP Government Class in the Eastern District of Oklahoma for our marquee civics event. At the event, United States Magistrate Judge Jason Robertson hosted 27 students in the federal courthouse in Muskogee. Students had the opportunity to learn about civics, the constitution, and how to have difficult discussions in a civil and productive manner. Students also heard from the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, Chris Wilson. Finally, students attended a presentation led by the United States Marshals Service about its role within the federal criminal justice system. Many thanks to our volunteer attorneys, the US Marshals Service, Chris Wilson, and Judge Robertson!
