What Makes a U.S. Attorney?

NDOK U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson joined us for an informal conversation about his journey from history buff at Oklahoma State who always wanted to try cases, to Law Review Editor at Tulsa University Law, to military prosecutor, to AUSA in New Mexico, to AUSA and then FAUSA in Tulsa, and then to U.S. Attorney for the NDOK. We also talked about his military career as a Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve JAG Corps. He told us why public service was so important to him, how McGirt v. Oklahoma upended life-as-he-knew-it at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and what leadership skills have helped him the most throughout his career. We are privileged to have had U.S. Attorney Johnson accept our invitation to come and talk with us.
